Pikes Peak Christian skates past Miami-Yoder with ease

Recap: Pikes Peak Christian Eagles vs. Miami-Yoder Buffaloes

The Pikes Peak Christian Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 49-22 win over Miami-Yoder on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Pikes Peak Christian has managed all season.

Pikes Peak Christian was led to victory by Rebecca Thomas and Sarah Harris. Thomas scored 18 points along with five steals, while Harris scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. Thomas is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannahmae Reed, who scored six points.

Kylie McKnight and Carley Bringhurst certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. McKnight scored eight points along with ten steals and seven rebounds, while Bringhurst scored seven points along with eight steals. Bringhurst is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Pikes Peak Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Miami-Yoder, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pikes Peak Christian will take on South Park at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Miami-Yoder, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Non Varsity Opponent at 4:30 p.m. on January 18th.
