Volleyball Recap: Olympia Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Capital on Thursday, Olympia came back down to earth. The Bears fell 3-1 to the North Thurston Rams on Monday. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Olympia was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made North Thurston work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-16, 19-25, 25-13.

Addison Wilson paced Olympia's offense, picking up 13 kills. Wilson got some help from Alice Fischer and her 31 assists. Stella Sheeran controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Anna Sheeran was the offensive standout of the match as she had 22 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Olympia's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Olympia has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Kelso on the 10th. As for North Thurston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Capital on the 9th.
