Baseball Recap: Christian Academy-Louisville Wins Going Away Against North Bullitt

Christian Academy-Louisville barely beat North Bullitt the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Centurions blew past the Eagles 10-4 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Centurions, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

David Haire tossed a big game, pitching 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had over his last five contests.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Lucas Hale, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Crawford, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Christian Academy-Louisville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Bullitt only managed three hits.

Christian Academy-Louisville's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 18-10. As for North Bullitt, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 24-8.

Coming up, Christian Academy-Louisville will be playing at home against Spencer County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for North Bullitt, they will face off against Anderson County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
