Baseball Recap: North Providence Cougars vs. Toll Gate Titans

While North Providence didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Toll Gate Titans on Monday as they made off with a 7-0 victory. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by seven runs or more this season.

Not much got past Mike Ryan, who gave up just a hit and racked up nine Ks to keep Toll Gate off the board.

On the hitting side, Ronnie Paux was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those doubles marked the first that he has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mike Allard, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
