Softball Game Preview: Georgetown Bulldogs vs. Peabody Warhorses

The Georgetown Bulldogs will challenge the Peabody Warhorses at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Georgetown came up short against Leesville on Saturday, falling 16-4. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Wampus Cats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Peabody fell victim to Montgomery and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 17-0 to the Tigers. The Warhorses' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Peabody's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Georgetown, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Georgetown took their victory against Peabody when the teams last played back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 22-0. Does Georgetown have another victory up their sleeve, or will Peabody turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
