Seminole Ridge won the last time they faced Somerset Academy - Canyons, and Evan Holowecky did his part to make sure it happened again. The Seminole Ridge Hawks put the hurt on the Somerset Academy - Canyons Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday which was due in part to Holowecky, who had six digs, five aces, and one block. Holowecky is also crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 22 every time he's taken the court this season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-17, 25-13.

Seminole Ridge's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. As for Somerset Academy - Canyons, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Seminole Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Sunset on the 14th. As for Somerset Academy - Canyons, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Royal Palm Beach on the 17th.
