Baseball Recap: Elgin Takes a Loss

Elgin's last matchup with Georgetown could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. Elgin came up short against Georgetown, falling 10-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Elgin now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Georgetown, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8-1 record this season.

While Elgin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
