There's no place like home for Shrewsbury, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Acton-Boxborough Revolution a 6-0 shutout on Wednesday. This was payback for the Colonials, who suffered a 4-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Shrewsbury's record now sits at 3-5. As for Acton-Boxborough, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Shrewsbury will be playing in front of their home fans against Grafton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Acton-Boxborough, they will welcome Wellesley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Revolution surely won't give up without a fight.
