Softball Recap: Grass Lake Now 22-1 over Last 23 Games

It's playoff time, and Grass Lake had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Algonac Muskrats on Friday, sneaking past 4-2. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 5-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

Morgan ?Mo? Conrad (2026) spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Nadene Hubbard (2025), who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Emily Brown (2025) was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run.

Grass Lake has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 22 of their last 23 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 39-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Algonac, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-14-1.

As of now, neither Grass Lake nor the Muskrats have any future games scheduled.
