Basketball Game Preview: Legacy Christian Academy Eagles vs. Parish Episcopal Panthers

The Legacy Christian Academy Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Parish Episcopal Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Legacy Christian Academy has struggled recently with seven losses in a row, while Parish Episcopal will arrive with nine straight wins.

Last Tuesday, Legacy Christian Academy ended up a good deal behind Prestonwood Christian and lost 73-58. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 559th, while the Lions are ranked 209th).

Meanwhile, Parish Episcopal humbled Nolan Catholic with a 69-40 victory. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 21 points or more this season.

Parish Episcopal's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 30-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.5 points. As for Legacy Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-19.

Things could have been worse for Legacy Christian Academy, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took an 81-63 loss to Parish Episcopal in their previous matchup back in November of 2021. Can Legacy Christian Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
