Basketball Game Preview: Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers vs. Stratford Academy Eagles

Mount de Sales Academy is 0-10 against Stratford Academy since January of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers will head out to take on the Stratford Academy Eagles at 7:30 p.m.

Last Friday, Mount de Sales Academy lost to Tattnall Square Academy at home by a 68-52 margin. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 355th, while the Trojans are ranked 175th).

Meanwhile, Stratford Academy strolled past Piedmont Academy with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 72-58. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Stratford Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points per game. As for Mount de Sales Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.

Mount de Sales Academy suffered a grim 60-39 defeat to Stratford Academy when the teams last played back in January. Can Mount de Sales Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
