After a string of nine wins, Chase County's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of the Gothenburg Swedes by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Swedes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Chase County's defeat dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Gothenburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

Chase County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gothenburg, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Ogallala on the 28th.
