Tour zips over to Indiana; honors Ben Davis Girls

The Lady Giants finished their unforgettable season with an undefeated record of 30-0!
On Friday, May 15th, as I entered Ben Davis high school, excitement was high. The MaxPreps Tour of Champions presented by the Army National Guard was present to honor the girls basketball team the National Ranking Minuteman Trophy at a spring sports assembly. The Lady Giants were one of ten girls teams in the nation being honored by MaxPreps and the Army National Guard!
The Lady Giants finished their unforgettable season with an undefeated record of 30-0! They were unstoppable! And their defense led the way. They defeated 20 of their opponents by holding them to 40 points or fewer! For this accomplishment, the Lady Giants were ranked #1 in MaxPreps’ Xcellent 25 poll and #3 in the computer generated MaxPreps poll.
All of Ben Davis High School was proud of coach Stan Benge and their beloved Lady Giants as they were presented the National Ranking Minuteman Trophy by Indiana Army National Guard’s Sergeant Miller, who praised the team for their commitment, dedication and high character.
