Baseball Game Preview: Fruitland Grizzlies vs. Homedale Trojans

For the second straight game, Fruitland will face off against Homedale. The Grizzlies will host the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fruitland will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Fruitland is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Idaho's top teams: Homedale, who was ranked 11th at the time (Fruitland was ranked third). The Grizzlies never let the Trojans get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Monday. Those one runs were actually the fewest the Grizzlies have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The result came thanks to Owen Baker's shutout, as he gave up just two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
