Volleyball Recap: Nipomo's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Nipomo won the last time they faced Mission College Prep and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Titans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Royals.

Nipomo was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-17, 23-25, 25-18, 25-12.

Henry Gibson paced Nipomo's offense, picking up 19 kills. Gibson got some help from Alex Cortez and his 38 assists. William Hidinger controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Nipomo's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 18-12. As for Mission College Prep, their defeat was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-23.

Nipomo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Morro Bay on the 17th. As for Mission College Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Lompoc on the 16th.
