Softball Recap: Monrovia Takes a Loss

After soaring to 18 runs the game before, Monrovia was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They fell 6-1 to the North Putnam Cougars. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 5-3 to the Cougars when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Monrovia's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for North Putnam, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Monrovia didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 9-5 win against Cloverdale on the 14th. As for North Putnam, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-5 victory against Speedway on the 14th.
