Softball Game Preview: Bethel Bruins vs. Woodside Wolverines

For the second straight game, Bethel will face off against Woodside. The Bruins will venture away from home to square off against the Wolverines at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bethel's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Woodside's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Bethel took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over Woodside. The Bruins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 11 runs or more this season.

For Woodside's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Swift, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

This is the second loss in a row for Woodside and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Bethel, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
