Volleyball Recap: West Bend West Comes Up Short

After flying high against Sheboygan South on Tuesday, West Bend West came back down to earth. The Spartans fell 2-0 to the Kimberly Papermakers on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Papermakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Kimberly's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Adia Munn, who had seven digs and two aces.

West Bend West has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Kimberly, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

West Bend West has already played their next matchup (against Arrowhead), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Kimberly, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Kettle Moraine Lutheran on the 26th.
