Football Recap: Clarkston Drops Season-High Score on Northview

Clarkston lost against Northview back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Angoras received a blow as they fell 29-12 to the Titans. On the bright side, the 12- point performance marked the Angoras' highest-scoring contest to date.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gabe Workman, who picked up 68 receiving yards and two scores. Those 68 receiving yards gave Workman a new career-high. Another signal caller making a difference was Drew Beane, who threw for 163 yards and three TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes.

Clarkston's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Northview, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Clarkston is set to square off against their familiar foe Marist at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th. Meanwhile, Northview will take on rival Druid Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
