Union City's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Iroquois Braves 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Braves: they've now won four in a row.

Union City had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 17-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-10.

Union City's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Iroquois, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Union City and Iroquois will both be playing Seneca the next time they take the court. The Bears will head out to face the Bobcats at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Braves will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
