Basketball Game Preview: Notre Dame Titans vs. Bloomington Bruins

The Notre Dame Titans will challenge the Bloomington Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Notre Dame is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Last Wednesday, Notre Dame came up short against San Gorgonio and fell 62-52.

Notre Dame might have lost, but man, Caiden Broughton was a machine: he posted 41 points and five boards. The contest was Broughton's tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Lewis, who scored two points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Bloomington got the win against Rim of the World on Wednesday by a conclusive 59-36.

Bloomington has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Notre Dame, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.

Notre Dame came up short against Bloomington in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, falling 59-51. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bloomington's Angel Barajas, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten boards.
