Basketball Recap: Ponitz Career Tech Takes a Loss

Ponitz Career Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 77-55 to the Stivers School for the Arts Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-30 back in December of 2024.

Ponitz Career Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Stivers School for the Arts, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ponitz Career Tech will challenge Meadowdale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Stivers School for the Arts, they are taking a road trip to take on Dunbar at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Dunbar's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups.
