Volleyball Recap: Christian Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Christian Academy-Louisville

Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions on Monday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered since August 22, 2024.

While Christian Academy-Louisville got the win, Christian Academy sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-21, 27-25.

Leading Christian Academy-Louisville to victory were Katrina Oswald and Lexi Schaffner. Oswald had 12 digs and three assists, while Schaffner had six digs. Those three assists gave Oswald a new career-high.

Looking ahead, Christian Academy will face off against Henryville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Christian Academy-Louisville, they will square off against North Bullitt at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
