Jodi Skinner looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (three).
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Maile Dunn, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, seven RBI, and three runs. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ahmaya Wheeler, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
