Football Recap: Pinewood Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Pinewood Christian lost against Westfield School back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Patriots took a 29-10 bruising from the Hornets.

Sam Wasson threw for 48 yards on four of 13 attempts. Folsom Pound was his top target, picking up 27 receiving yards.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westfield School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brock Johnson, who rushed for 83 yards and one TD, and also threw for 41 yards and one touchdown. That's the most rushing yards Johnson has posted since back in October of 2024. Jack Doster was in the mix as well, providing Westfield School with one score.

Pinewood Christian now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Westfield School, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Pinewood Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Andrew's at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. As for Westfield School, they will challenge Strong Rock Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Jackson Hair and Jake Johnson.
