Basketball Recap: Powell Comes Up Short

Powell lost against Clinton back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Powell Panthers took a hard 64-45 fall against the Clinton Dragons.

Powell's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Clinton, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-10.

The future could be bright for both Powell and Clinton: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Powell will try to hand Hardin Valley Academy their fourth-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Clinton will look to extend Karns' ten-game losing streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
