After having lost a blowout in their previous game, South Pasadena was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Monrovia Wildcats. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Wildcats last Tuesday, they had to take a 12-4 loss.

Lucia Atencio was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Atencio was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.
