Soccer Game Preview: West-Oak vs. Walhalla

West-Oak is 0-9-1 against Walhalla since February of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Warriors will challenge the Razorbacks at 6:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, West-Oak made easy work of Anderson Christian and carried off a 7-2 win.

Meanwhile, Walhalla entered their tilt with Belton-Honea Path on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Bears. Given Walhalla's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 37th, while Belton-Honea Path are ranked 149th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

West-Oak's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Walhalla, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2.

West-Oak suffered a grim 8-1 defeat to Walhalla in their previous matchup back in March. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Warriors were down 4-1.
