Monrovia took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They managed a 42-38 victory over the Brentwood School Eagles.

Monrovia's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jesse Saucedo, who threw for 485 yards and five TDs while completing 76.5% of his passes.
