Baseball Recap: Orleans Comes Up Short

Orleans lost against Salem back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions.

Nolan Robbins was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one double. That double was his first of the season.

Orleans' defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Salem, they moved to 8-7-1 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orleans will welcome Borden at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Salem, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Austin at 5:30 a.m. on Monday.
