Preview: Parkview Christian Academy Falcons vs. Somonauk Bobcats
The Parkview Christian Academy Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Somonauk Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Parkview Christian Academy is hoping to put an end to a 14-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Friday, Parkview Christian Academy came up short against Mooseheart and fell 66-53.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Kashton Wilson, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Mulder, who scored ten points along with seven assists.
Somonauk has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 20 points or more this season. They blew past LaMoille 69-49. The victory was just what Somonauk needed coming off of a 70-38 defeat in their prior match.
Parkview Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Somonauk, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
