Volleyball Recap: Versailles Comes Up Short

Versailles's tournament run continued when they took on Santa Fe on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chiefs. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Santa Fe's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sami Mueller, who had five digs and three aces. That's the most aces Mueller has posted over her last seven matchups.

Versailles' loss dropped their record down to 4-11-2. As for Santa Fe, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-1.

Versailles has already played their next match (against Stover), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Santa Fe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 1-1 tie against Smith-Cotton on the 27th.
