Football Game Preview: Barnsdall vs. Morrison

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Morrison. Their bye week comes to an end as they meet up with Barnsdall at 7:00 PM on Friday. Morrison have bulldozed their previous five opponents, so Barnsdall might have their hands full.

Two weeks ago, Morrison put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They took the contest and then some with a 48-0 win over Woodland. With Morrison ahead 40-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Barnsdall had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 50-36 victory over Langston Hughes Academy.

Their wins bumped Barnsdall to 5-2 and Morrison to 5-0. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
