Baseball Recap: Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Triumphs

Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts gave up the first runs on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against the Chattanooga Central Pounders by a score of 7-4.

Jackson Owens was excellent, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Ballard, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts' win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Chattanooga Central, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts will take on Lookout Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chattanooga Central, they will challenge Hixson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
