Recap: Duncan Demons vs. Ada Cougars
The Duncan Demons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. Their rough 70-44 loss to Ada might stick with them for a while. Duncan has struggled against Ada recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Among those leading the charge was Carter Colombe, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Colombe is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Caron Richardson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Duncan's loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Ada, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Duncan will head out on the road to face off against Madill at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Madill is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. Ada won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Piedmont at 8:30 p.m. on December 8th. Piedmont knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully Ada likes a good challenge.
