Lowell has gone a perfect 3-0 against Galileo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cardinals are taking a road trip to face off against the Lions at 3:30 p.m. Lowell will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
Lowell's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 21-0 margin over Mission. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Laura Valencia made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024.

Lowell kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Galileo fell victim to Balboa and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Buccaneers, falling 18-0. The Lions have struggled against the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
Lowell's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Galileo, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
Everything went Lowell's way against Galileo in their previous meeting back in March, as Lowell made off with a 15-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
