Preview: Brighton vs. Dyersburg
Brighton will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Dyersburg in at 7:00 PM. Dyersburg will be strutting in after a win while Brighton will be stumbling in from a loss.
Brighton had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. Last Friday, they lost to Houston by a decisive 14-34 margin. Brighton were down by 7-34 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Dyersburg took care of business in their home opener. They steamrollered King Prep 63-6. Dyersburg was heavily favored coming into this game, and the results showcase why.
Brighton's defeat took them down to 0-1 while Dyersburg's victory pulled them up to write [team] current record. A win for Brighton would reverse both their bad luck and Dyersburg's good luck. We'll see if Brighton manages to pull off that tough task or if Dyersburg keeps their momentum going instead.
