Volleyball Recap: Bloomfield Hills Beats Stoney Creek for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Bloomfield Hills had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Stoney Creek Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in August.

While Bloomfield Hills won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 29-27, 25-20.

Kayla Nwabueze paced Bloomfield Hills' offense, picking up 15 kills. Nwabueze got some help from Brynn Wilcox and her 29 assists. Allison Stakoe controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Bloomfield Hills' win bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Stoney Creek, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 16-10.

Coming up, Bloomfield Hills will take on Lake Orion in a tournament on Saturday. As for Stoney Creek, they will head out on the road to challenge Athens at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
