The Hoover Huskies will take on the Ripley Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hoover will be strutting in after a win while Ripley will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, Hoover earned a 7-2 victory over Wayne. The win continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now won six in a row.

Kaylyn Harper made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles and four RBI. Those RBI were her first of the season.
