Baseball Recap: La Salle College Makes It Ten in a Row on the Road

La Salle College strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls as they made off with a 10-2 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Explorers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Jack Pye tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Caden Schmidt was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. He also hit a triple, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Dan Murray, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

La Salle College kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 13 hits in three consecutive games.
