Softball Recap: Longmeadow Takes a Loss

After soaring to 23 runs the game before, Longmeadow was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They came up short against the Auburn Rockets, falling 8-2.

Longmeadow saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Blue, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Another was Delaney Schrager, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Longmeadow now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Auburn, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Longmeadow will host South Hadley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Auburn, they will square off against Leicester at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
