Basketball Game Preview: Garner Trojans vs. Heritage Huskies + How To Watch

The Garner Trojans will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against the Heritage Huskies at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Garner is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Apex on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Trojans were beaten by the Cougars 62-13. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-9.

Meanwhile, Heritage waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took their game with ease, bagging a 60-15 win over the Mustangs. The Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 41 points or more this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Garner and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Heritage, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Garner barely slipped by Heritage in their previous meeting back in February of 2021, winning 53-52. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
