Manchester won the last time they faced L.C. Bird and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lancers never let the Skyhawks get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Lancers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by eight runs or more this season.
Judah Parks made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Manchester is 4-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 4-5 otherwise.
