Bethel took a 11-run defeat the last time they faced off against Wayne, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bees came out on top in a nail-biter against the Warriors on Saturday, sneaking past 10-8. Winning may never get old, but the Bees sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Bethel's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 4.25 runs across that stretch. As for Wayne, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Bethel didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Oakwood on the 14th. As for Wayne, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 9-1 victory against Miamisburg on the 14th.
