After starting their season with two straight games on the road, Tabernacle is finally coming home. Tabernacle lost 43-22 to Jacksonville Christian Academy on Friday. The Torches haven't had much luck with the Thunder recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Cornerstone Christian had to start their season on the road back in August, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a blow against Russell Christian Academy, falling 35-6. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Tabernacle was taken down by Cornerstone Christian 56-28 in their previous meeting back in September of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Cornerstone Christian's Jess Nelson, who rushed for 96 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries, and also picked up 43 receiving yards.
