Basketball Recap: Hatch Valley Comes Up Short

Hatch Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 51-13 loss at the hands of the Ruidoso Warriors. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-7 last Tuesday.

Hatch Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Ruidoso, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

Hatch Valley won't have much time to rest: their next match is against New Mexico Military Institute at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Ruidoso has already played their next game (against Cloudcroft), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
