Soccer Recap: Madison Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Madison lost against Mentor back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Blue Streaks lost 5-1 to the Cardinals. Madison were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Gabriel Swinarski, which was the first he's scored this season.

Madison dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mentor, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Madison wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 6-0 win against Edgewood on the 26th. As for Mentor, they will square off against University School at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
