Basketball Recap: Kettle Falls' Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Kettle Falls had won three straight games and Ella Johnson did her part to make it four on Saturday. The Kettle Falls Bulldogs walked away with a 58-47 victory over the Omak Pioneers thanks in part to Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 18 times she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Cambria Thivierge, who posted four points and six rebounds. That's the most boards she has posted since back in January of 2024.

Kettle Falls' win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Omak, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.

Kettle Falls will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Chewelah at 6:00 p.m. Kettle Falls is facing Chewelah at the right time seeing as Chewelah is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Omak, they will head out to square off against Chelan at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
