Football Game Preview: Bangor Cardinals vs. Cashton Eagles

The Bangor Cardinals will challenge the Cashton Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Bangor 5.8, Cashton 13.5) so any points scored will be well earned.

Cashton will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Bangor extended their winning streak to five on Friday. The Cardinals blew past Royall, posting a 38-0 victory. Considering the Cardinals have won four games by more than 33 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Cashton fell victim to Brookwood and their airtight defense on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 15-0 to the Falcons. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Bangor's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Cashton, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.

Bangor was able to grind out a solid victory over Cashton when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 28-21. Will the Cardinals repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
