Myers Park lost to Ardrey Kell back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Myers Park sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Ardrey Kell. The win was all the more spectacular given Myers Park's disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 70th, while Ardrey Kell are ranked tenth).

Laine Connell and Amaya Falzarano scored both of Myers Park's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Myers Park's victory bumped their record up to 4-5-2. As for Ardrey Kell, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-2-3.
